(Update: Pricing) The first Roku TVs are only available at one store

Roku is finally making its own TVs.

In January, Roku announced that it’s finally building its own TVs, but nowadays you can buy one. The new Roku Select and Roku Plus Series TVs come in eleven models ranging from 24 to 75 inches, starting at just $149.

Update, 9/3/23: Roku’s new line of TVs is now available in stores and online at Best Buy. The listings confirm that pricing starts at $149 for the 24″ model up to $1,199 for the 75″ QLED 4K option. Or, a good middle ground is the Roku 55″ 4K Smart TV for $429.

Since 2014, people have been buying TVs from TCL, Hisense, and even LG, which run the Roku TV platform, but now you’ll be able to get a TV made and designed by the company itself. From what we’ve seen, Roku’s new lineup looks convincing and is available exclusively at Best Buy.

If you’re a fan of the Roku platform, you can get the Roku Select or Plus Series in HD or 4K to fit any size room. Roku says its new line of TVs are packed with performance and good looks, all at a relatively affordable price.

The press release talks about the Roku Plus series’ excellent QLED picture quality with auto-brightness and local dimming modes, wireless sound options, fast Wi-Fi 6 performance, 4K Dolby Vision, and Bluetooth private listening, to name a few. Some features.

Roku’s select lineup may not have as many features, but they are likely to come at an affordable price. Plus, all models come with Roku’s excellent Voice Remote Pro, which is probably a lot better than the remote that came with your other TV running Roku software.

According to Mustafa Ozgen, President of Devices at Roku, “Our goal is to make everything about a smart TV delightfully simple, from finding the perfect TV for you, opening and unboxing it, to enjoying your favorite movies and TV shows. We make purposeful choices to ensure our Roku Select and Plus Series TVs incorporate what users love best about the Roku streaming experience and bring our expertise in picture and audio quality to provide consumers with enhanced entertainment at an incredible price”.

Also this week, Roku announced a major update to Roku OS 12, bringing improved performance, more customization, better Roku mobile app controls, and a host of new channels for live TV, sports, and more. It will start rolling out to all users in the coming weeks.

It’s also worth noting that Roku has a new wireless soundbar that will pair perfectly with these new TVs, which will also be available at Best Buy later this month. Unfortunately, we don’t have pricing on the entire line of TVs or the upcoming soundbar, but you’ll be able to see, try, and buy a new Roku TV starting today at Best Buy.
