This is backed up by a Bloomberg report. (opens in a new tab)where reporter Jason Schreier also heard that the game will be delayed.
This delay is apparently due to the poor reception of the game at a recent PlayStation State of Play, where the developers showed off combat against Brainiac’s forces. The decision to include a Battle Pass in the game, as well as the always-online functionality, are also being criticized.
Whenever it arrives, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and PS5.

Windows Central’s opinion
By all means, you should delay your game if you need extra time. Most of the bigger games have at least one lag these days! That being said, I’m really not sure that a few months is enough to address the concerns that players have, other than some additional polishing and maybe eliminating the requirement to always be online.
