NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.29 WHQL now available, fixes high CPU usage issues and Adobe

NVIDIA has released the recently updated GeForce Game Ready Driver, version 531.29, out of beta and into full form. The new NVIDIA Game Ready driver is more compatible with Atomic Heart, the closed beta version of the upcoming video game THE FINALS, and fixes Adobe application issues that arose during version 531.18.

NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.29 WHQL Launches Today, Updated From Initial February Release

Since the previous driver update affected systems with abnormally high CPU usage, users were set to notice the CPU situation after the first day of its release. NVIDIA released a hotfix to help fix the issue, but warned users that it would be wiser to wait for its full release. This new driver comes with known issues such as turning HDR on and off while the user is playing the game.

The HDR issue causes the game to become unstable, especially when its non-native resolution is chosen. Users should also note that applying NVIDIA GeForce Experience Freestyle filters tends to cause the game to crash. These issues should be taken into account if someone downloads the newest driver.

The changelog and information for the recently updated NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver (Version 531.29 WHQL) is listed below:
