In some ways, Microsoft’s Bing search engine can be a great tool: it has a excellent image search and video search(Opens in a new tab)For example.
But if you like using the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser, and you’re a part of the Google team through and through, here’s how you can remove Bing from your browser.

Change the default search in Chrome from Bing to Google
If your default search in Chrome is Bing, you can always easily switch to Google.
Click on the three dots in the upper right corner, then click on “Settings”.

You can also set Bing as your default through an extension. If that’s the case, again, it should be easy to remove:
Go to the “three dots” menu again and click on “More tools”, then “extensions”.

Change the default search on your smartphone
If you need to swap search engines in your Chrome app on your iPhone or Android, it’s a simple process, too.
Click on the three-dot menu, which is located at the bottom of the screen.

Change the default search in Microsoft Edge from Bing to Google
As expected, the default search engine of the Microsoft Edge browser at first is Microsoft Bing. But then again, you’re a fan of Google (or DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, etc.). You can still change Bing to your favorite, though admittedly Edge doesn’t make it as easy to do:
Click on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and click on “Settings”.

You can also remove Bing as your homepage on startup:
Click on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and click on settings.
In the left navigation menu, click on “Home, start & new tabs”.
