Mario Day Nintendo Switch bundle is now available

A new Nintendo Switch bundle is now available at major retailers. To celebrate Mario Day, Nintendo released a $300 bundle that comes with red Joy-Cons and a popular Mario game of your choice. After purchasing the bundle, you’ll be able to redeem a digital coupon for one of three Mario games for Switch: Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The pack also comes with Super Mario Bros. movie-themed stickers. We wouldn’t be surprised to see this pack sell out quickly, so you might want to hurry.

In case you’re not familiar with the annual holiday, Mario Day is March 10 because you can style the date as MAR10. Over the years, Nintendo has embraced the festivities with new products, events, and deals on popular Nintendo merchandise.

It’s important to note that the Switch bundle comes with the standard console, not the OLED Switch. The inclusion of the red Mario Joy-Con controllers is great, as they are not sold separately. The red Joy-Cons were previously included on a separate Mario-themed Switch that hasn’t been available at MSRP for a while. Other than the red Joy-Con, the console matches the regular Switch.

Nintendo Switch Mario Day Bundle

If you’ve been thinking about buying a Nintendo Switch, the new bundle is a good option. Deals on Switch consoles are extremely rare, and Nintendo typically doesn’t offer bundle deals outside of Black Friday. The official Black Friday package has always including Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so now you have two more games to choose from with this bundle.

You can pair your new Switch console with some additional games by shopping for Nintendo’s official Mario Day deals at major retailers. A bunch of Switch exclusives starring Mario and his friends are $40 off right now. You can check all the game discounts at GameSpot’s Mario Day Deal Roundup.

The Super Mario Bros. movie opens on April 5 and is expected to do big business at the box office and potentially become one of the highest-grossing video game movies ever. Presale tickets are already available via Fandango.
