According to the report, the world’s top 250 retailers generated sales of $5.6 trillion in fiscal year 2021 (period from July 2021 to June 2022), with a growth of +8.5%, 3.3% more than the previous year.

The big retailers of Italy performed well overall in fiscal 2021. Three of the four Italian players in the top 250 finished the year with superior year-over-year revenue compared to fiscal 2019: only Cooperative suffered a slight decline.
