Chinese retail price drops 12-core AMD Ryzen 9 7900X CPU to $420, now cheaper than non-X variant
Chinese retailer Jingdong (JD.com) revealed today that they are discounting the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X CPU at 2899 RMB, which converts to $420 USD. This new price puts the processor below the price of non-X variants of the Ryzen 9 7900 by close to RMB 300 (RMB 3,199).
In September of last year, AMD released the Ryzen 9 7900X CPU for the original MSRP of $549.
