Which generation of iPad to use SketchUp 6.2.1 Latest version?

Can you advise which generation of ipad will be good for using the latest SketchUp version of 6.2.1?

If you can afford to get the latest generation it’s the best, it has an m2 processor which is the most powerful tablet chip for now. I’m not an iPad sketchup user but since it comes along with the pro license I’ve used a couple of times I have an iPad Pro 2019 I think it’s 3rd generation it has an A12x SOC and it’s powerful enough to run sketch Try to get an iPad with the largest screen, which is the 12.9″ screen. The iPad Air can also run SketchUp, but the screen size is smaller than even the smallest 11″ iPad Pro.

since you need a minimum of ipadOS15 and an Apple Pencil (1 is good, 2 is better), here is the compatibility list for OS 15

As you can see, the limiting factor is not the OS but the pen, SU can be installed on an older version (2014-15) that does not support pen.

So yes, the latest generation is the best, of course it (always) is. but as you can see it will still work on an iPad6+, iPad Air 3+, Mini 5+ and pro (any pro)

I found out that the M2 processor is required for the Hover feature to work.
