Hi, can you add watfordstjohns.org to the allow list? They are a school with a .org address, thank you.
Please can we have an update on this, thank you. I keep getting the same message that the school really wants to use this, thanks.
Hello. Would you mind whitelisting our school’s domain? sapostol.com
Thank you
Sorry for the late reply @richardhfl. I was away last week and caught something on the plane back home and had to spend most of the week in bed recovering. I was able to find everything I needed on the site you linked in your post, so thanks for doing that! I’ll add you to the database in the next few minutes, so feel free to start deploying the app. Just make sure you don’t skip steps, as that can cause problems that might not show up right away.
As for you @JTudela, I was also able to find everything I needed on your website and add you too. Again, just make sure you don’t skip any steps when deploying the app, as that can cause problems later.
Thank you.
How long do I have to wait for access? I have tried after 5 hours and I can not access with the following message:
“You are in the right place?
SketchUp for Schools is once again available for educational use only. Don’t worry, all the projects you’ve created through your personal Gmail or Microsoft account can still be downloaded from your Google Drive or OneDrive. To continue drawing, sign in with an EDU domain account.
Make sure of that:
-You are using a G Suite for Education account.
-Your G Suite administrator installed SketchUp for Schools on your domain and granted it permissions.
If you have any questions, please contact us on the SketchUp for Schools forum.”
Our school account does not contain the word “.edu” in the domain. So can we use it?
Thank you very much again.
Hello again @JTudela. In fact, you can use the app and you should be ready to deploy it. Did you follow all the instructions outlined in the implementation process? Skipping a step can sometimes cause this problem. I’ll double check things on my end just to make sure everything is set up correctly and I’ll update this post in a few minutes with any info I can find.
Update 02/15/2023 10:00 AM MST
I just finished running a search on our database and you are definitely there and I have all the permissions set correctly to access from us. Based on the available data, I can’t 100% say what the problem is, but my best guess is that a step is still missing in the implementation process. After verifying that your deployment process is correct, can you let me know if you still have the issue?
Hello.
I checked the correct execution of the students account and it works fine, but not mine. I got the same message as before:
“You are in the right place?

Are there any instructions for the implementation process? I have not founded it.
Thanks for everything.
Hello @JTudela thanks for the answer. It’s pretty weird that students have access and you don’t. Can you verify that you are in the same domain as the students? If you’re on a different domain than mine, you may need to adjust some settings on our end and make sure that specific domain has permission to access everything.
If you don’t have a different domain, just follow the steps outlined in the video here to make sure you don’t miss anything:
Hi, I thought you already whitelisted our domain, but we still can’t sign in with Google. Can you add: acsdvt.org
Thank you!
Hello.
Thank you very much for your help. She had disabled “popups”. After watching the video, I fixed it and it definitely works.
Thanks again.
Have a nice day.
